Scheduled

During a redundancy test on one of our KPN mobile core nodes, an issue was identified. As a result, we have started passively offloading all ICCIDs from this specific node. This means that when a new session is initiated, the ICCID will be directed to one of our other nodes.

Why
This action ensures network stability and service continuity by redistributing sessions across multiple nodes.

Interruption / impact
Impact applies only to IoT devices that have already migrated to the new core and still have an active session on this node on Thursday. The chance that your IoT device is still connected to this node is small, but not impossible.
Devices still operating on the old core will experience no impact.

Action required
During this time, you don’t need to do anything.
